Prof. Liad Mudrik is a researcher at the school of psychological sciences and Sagol school of neuroscience at the Tel Aviv University. Her research focuses on conscious experience – asking how it comes about, what are its functions, and how it is affected by semantic knowledge and expectations. Mudrik completed two Ph.D. dissertations: one in cognitive neuroscience (psychology department) and the other in philosophy. She then continued to a postdoctoral fellowship at the California Institute of Technology. Since opening her lab, she has been awarded with several awards, including HFSP’s Career Development Award, the Marie Curie fellowship, and is a member of two interdisciplinary large-scale consortia. She is also a member of the Israeli Young Academy.
