Beena Kalisky is a researcher at the physics department and the institute for nanotechnology at Bar Ilan university and a member of the Israeli Young Academy. Her research focuses on studying electronic properties of quantum materials, and resolving basic questions in physics by mapping new electronic states of matter formed in artificial systems due to strong interactions between electrons. Her research combines developing advanced sensing techniques, and answering questions in the fields of solid state physics, nano-electronics and bio-magnetism.
